Programme Structure
Foundation Certificate programmes contain three elements:

Academic skills modules
You will develop key academic skills including research, writing, presentation and analysis.

Subject Modules
You will look at the basics of your chosen area of study before focusing on the particular topics and skills you will need most in your chosen undergraduate degree course.
Student Tutorials
All students have a Learning Support Tutor who will work with you throughout your academic programme at the college, and support you in achieving your study goals. Through regular meetings, your tutor can offer valuable advice to help you develop your study skills and knowledge, ensuring you receive the best possible education.
All modules are taught with your progression to the University of Liverpool in mind. They are tailored to meet the needs of international students.
English language tuition is also available for students that do not meet required English levels.
Guaranteed Progression
If you successfully complete the Foundation Certificate at the required level, your progression to a related undergraduate degree at the University of Liverpool is guaranteed.
Progression is into Year 1 of the undergraduate degree course.
