Programme Overview

The Graduate Diploma in Science and Engineering prepares you for a postgraduate degree course at the University of Liverpool.

The programme provides you with intensive integrated academic studies in science and engineering; advanced level English skills; and high-level study skills.

 

Entry Requirements

In general, you will need to have completed a minimum of three years of higher education. Extra English language tuition (Pre-sessional English) is also available if required

 

Progression to the University

Once you complete your Graduate Diploma to the level noted in your offer letter, your admission into a University of Liverpool postgraduate degree in a related subject area is guaranteed.

  • LCAS* 4

*Language and Communication for Academic Study

 

Three core subject modules

  • Engineering Science and Society
  • Statistical Design for Science and Engineering Research
  • Research Project (double module)

 

Additional Modules

Students taking the three term programme take four additional English language and core Academic Skills modules:

  • Language and Communication for Academic Study 2a
  • Language and Communication for Academic Study 2b
  • Academic Skills 1a
  • Academic Skills 1b
